NCS Welcomes New Board Members

We're delighted to announce that three new leaders have recently joined the NCS Board of Directors:

Matthew D. Hughes
Matthew is a Licensed Associate Real Estate Broker at Brown Harris Stevens. At the conclusion of a work event in the Fall of 2018, he noticed how much food was left over and donated it to our tenants at the NCS Residence. Meeting some of the residents, Matthew was inspired to do more. Over the course of this past Winter and Spring, he has run clothing drives and has been an ambassador for NCS among his friends and colleagues at BHS and beyond.

Rachael Piltch-Loeb, PhD MSPH
Rachael is a fellow with the Emergency Preparedness Research, Evaluation & Practice (EPREP) Program at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a member of the Program on Population Impact, Recovery, and Resilience at the New York University College of Global Public Health. Rachael first joined the Neighborhood Coalition for Shelter community in 2017 when she helped to form the NextGen Committee and became its founding Chair. She helped to develop the Committee’s signature project, the NextGen Innovation Award, which supports the work of an emerging leader who is advancing creative approaches to homelessness, and she sits on the Selection Committee for the Award.

Marta Radzyminski
Marta is a private investor and multi-family office manager, actively managing real estate as well as public and private investments. She has almost 30 years of experience in the business and financial sectors, including positions at McGraw-Hill, Time Inc., and Credit Suisse after graduating from Harvard Business School. Marta became involved with NCS through longtime board member Brinton Parson, and since learning about our work has become an advocate, volunteer and frequent guest at our fundraising events and program activities.
