Programs
In addition to supportive housing, NCS offers a range of programs that assist individuals on the path to independent living through counseling and treatment, educational and vocational services, job placement, and crisis intervention. NCS’s nearly 40 years of experience helps us to better understand the root causes of homelessness, improve service delivery, and advance our mission to transform lives.
Chance for Change is uniquely designed to serve individuals who are homeless and battling substance use disorders. The program also helps participants manage other life areas such as mental illness, chronic medical conditions, homelessness, unemployment and other life stressors.
NCS Connect provides information, referral, and crisis intervention services to homeless men and women and those at risk of homelessness at free meal programs in Manhattan
Options is NCS’s vocational, education and employment program that helps individuals with little or no employment history and significant barriers to employment identify and pursue a career track that can provide a living wage and growth over time.
