NCS Clients Make a Splash at Dorney Park
At NCS we make sure that our clients have not only stable housing and access to any services they need, but also that they are able to engage in activities that foster community building and having fun. These activities can range from arts and crafts groups to outings to the movies to holiday meals, and even occasionally day trips to amusement parks!
This week, clients and staff across all of our program sites had the opportunity to beat the heat at Dorney Park in Allentown, Pennsylvania! The expansive water park is one of the largest in the Northeast, and our clients were not disappointed by the various thrilling rides and relaxing swim time.
It’s not often that all of our programs are able to participate in the same events or excursions, so this trip was even more special as clients were able to connect with new friends and share this fun-filled day.
This fantastic day would not have been possible without the hard work of our dedicated staff. We’re so grateful for Monique Phillips, NCS Residence Program Director, Elizabeth McGuire, Options Program Director, and Robert Yancey, Chief Program Officer, for organizing such a fun day for our clients to escape the city for the day and have such fun! Additionally, this day would not have been such a success without the help of our wonderful staff who accompanied our clients on this adventure.
