“The quote “Be the change you want to see in the world” is hanging on my wall. I see it every morning and it’s like, “yeah that!” College felt like the only option, and it helped me find my purpose and to learn and grow. I did a lot of thinking about what I should study and where it would lead me. It’s easy to go with the flow, and it’s really hard to make your own path but with college, I knew that I’d at least finish with a degree. There were a lot of challenges and hurdles in my way but this is my degree in forensic accounting! There’s another quote that I like, “One can never consent to creep when one feels an impulse to soar.” I think Helen Keller said that. That’s how I feel.”
