“My grandmother ran a program out of her home where she took care of the elderly and the disabled and the sick. When I was 8 or 9, she used to tell me to help her out with the patients and after a while I would change their bed linens and help them with their clothes without her having to ask me. I just felt it was something I needed to do because I was there and she needed the help. I’m blessed that my grandma taught me this because I just graduated from a home care aide training program. It was something uplifting for me to do. I was always inspired by my grandmother. ”
