Our NCS COVID Warriors!

In the beginning of the pandemic, many of the tenants were not social distancing or wearing masks, and the staff knew they needed to do something to change that. 

NCS Residence Program Director Margarita Ramos created the COVID-19 Warrior Board. Tenants "caught" wearing masks could have their photo taken and put on the wall to show everyone else that they were being safe and following the law. 

And every COVID warrior got a $25 gift card to a local supermarket! 

Now all of the residents wear masks and are excited to be warriors! 

Thank you to our community partners who donated masks for our residents and staff and the gift cards to incentivize their use (and provide food when it was needed most).
