“I recently graduated from college and at first didn’t have much direction in what I wanted to do. All I knew was that I was going to move to New York and that the work I would be doing would have to benefit others in some way. When I began looking for a place to start my career and learned about NCS I got really excited about the opportunity in development. Working to benefit people who face intersectional discrimination is extremely important and it’s clear that this is something that most people who are homeless have to deal with. Working at NCS is great because I know that what I’m doing is ultimately helping the residents and that makes me happy.”
