NCS 2018 Spring Benefit celebrated 35 years of community helping the homeless

On April 18th, NCS celebrated 35 years of providing housing and support for New Yorkers struggling with homelessness and looked to the work that lies ahead for us all. We were inspired by Officer Frank Rendina, who demonstrated how one man's compassion can make a difference; Dave Heath and Randy Goldberg, who as co-founders of Bombas, were driven to act after learning that socks are the most requested item in homeless shelters (and have since donated more than 7 million pairs of socks based on a one for one model); and Victoria Bert, a former NCS resident who showed us what the end of homelessness can and should look like.
