Client Services Coordinator

Louis Nine House, Bronx New York

Reports To: Program Director

Basic Functions: The Client Services Coordinator is involved in all aspects of the residents’ living environment, plans appropriate activities for the residents that maximize their development, and provides administrative support to the Program Director.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing tenant intake in partnership with the Program Director

  • Managing tenant leasing with property managers

  • Maintaining client rental records and working with case managers with regard to rental arrears

  • Working with building/property management on general building upkeep

  • Tracking client data, providing progress notes, and assisting in preparing internal and external reports

  • Organizing paperwork in accessible filing systems

  • Closely working with HPD to ensure clients’ section 8 subsidies remain active

  • Running client activities, including recreational activities, coaching, and special events

  • Meeting weekly with the Program Director and Senior Case Manager to coordinate team efforts and responsibilities

  • Chairing bi-monthly meetings with the residents and staff on house issues, rules, etc.

  • Conducting room inspections, document findings and initiate and oversee appropriate remediation and follow up

  • Overseeing Petty Cash for the program

  • Working cooperatively with staff at all levels to ensure quality service provision

  • Performing other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in the human services field)

  • A minimum of 2-3 years administrative experience including working with young adults/ at-risk youth, preferably SPMI/SED

  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed by the program director

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Supervisory experience preferred
